AMD goes nuts, slashes and burns Opteron prices

AMDが、Athlon64 X2、Opteron1xxに続き、Opteron2xxシリーズの値下げを行うようです
ええと、その、こう書いてあるのですが

The 265 currently costs about $700 and that price is set to cascade down to $341. The 270 costs $864 as we speak, and in mid Feb the price is likely to tumble to $476.

Then the 275, which costs over a gigahertz of money at $1,063, will become a $700 part. Lastly, but far from leastly, the 280 will fall from its high $1,300 podium to $865.

つまり、こうなると書いてあります

• Opteron280　$1,300　→　$865
• Opteron275　$1,063　→　$700
• Opteron270　$864　→　$476
• Opteron265　$700　→　$341

タイトルが、インテルが火事になるほどの価格(値下げ)、だと思うのですが
これは、本当ですか(;・д・)
参考までに、秋葉でのOpteronの価格と、1,300ドルが165,900円として、1ドル127円で計算してみますと

• Opteron 280 (2.4GHzx2/1Mx2)　\165,900　→　\109,985
• Opteron 275 (2.2GHzx2/1Mx2)　\129,969　→　\88,900　
• Opteron 270 (2GHzx2/1Mx2)　　\109,800　→　\60,452
• Opteron 265 (1.8GHzx2/1Mx2)　\89,800　 →　\43,307

939と940の差をなくすためなのか、AM2に向けてのラインナップの整理なのかわかりませんが
なんにせよ、大幅な値下げですね、ありえねぇ・・・
